Concern for the environment informed the work of a number of craft practitioners during the last decades of the century. In this work, Toni Warburton uses the coarse earthenware associated with sewage pipes in a narrative about the degradation of the marine life of Sydney Harbour, resulting from decades of industrial pollution.
