This lithograph bears the lifetime stamp of Rosalind Birnie Philip indicating that this impression is one belonging to the edition of 15 printed during Whistler's life. Rosalind Birnie Philip had a posthumous edition of 36 impressions printed by Frederick Goulding (1842-1909) on 18th January 1904.
