Study for the painting 'Nude with pink gown' [Nude with chair and gown] 1979 Title Notes: Illustrated in Sasha Grishin: "The art of John Brack" (OUP1990) as catalogue raisonne no. p257. Although this drawing has the inscription "Nude with chair and gown", the title "Study for the painting 'Nude with pink gown' which appears in the early file documenation (eg 79/0326 f49) is preferred as relating the drawing more accurately to the derivative painting "Nude with pink gown", illustrated in Sasha Grishin as catalogue no. o266.
