This lithograph bears the lifetime stamp of Rosalind Birnie Philip indicating that this impression is one belonging to the edition of 12 printed during Whistler's life. Rosalind Birnie Philip had a posthumous edition of 40 impressions printed by GOULDING Frederick(1842-1909) on 31st of March 1904
