Edition Notes: Printed by WHISTLER, James ( Abbott) McNeill ( United States: 1834- Great Britain, 1903) This etching was printed in a small edition of around 24 etchings, because the plate is so detailed with a fine line quality, Whistler was not able to etch it for a good length of time, meaning that the image was fragile and would not have made a larger edition. Printed in dark brown ink from one copper plate.
