Edition Notes: Robert Motherwell prepared the nineteen lithographic images in 'El Negro' on Mylar and acetate sheets using Paintstiks, grease pencils and alcohol tusche which he applied with brushes and a bamboo pen. The images were transferred to aluminium plates by Lee Funderburg. The plates were printed by Funderburg and Roger Campbell on a flat bed offset press. Papermaking by Steve Reeves and Tom Strianese. This image is one of seven images from 'El Negro' that were printed in separate editions without text.
