Edition Notes: 33 colour, coloured pressed paper pulp work with lithography collage elements adhered. First, two newly made white base sheets were uniquely coloured by the artist with the following dyed pulp colours applied with ladles, eye droppers and by spraying with a pattern pistol through hand-cut plastic stencils: yellow, red, black, orange, brown, light yellow, green, brown-green, dark red, dark magenta, magenta, light magenta, Black-magenta, titanium white and blue. The paper was then pressed and dried. The following colours were each printed from an aluminium lithography plate for the collage elements: (bird element) yellow, magenta, green, brown, red, dark green; (top face element) brown, dark brown, magenta, blue; (eyes element) blue, blue-black, light blue; (bottom face element) transparent red, brown, red, yellow, blue. After printing, the collage elements were cut and adhered to the paper pulp using archival adhesive. Papermaking by Tom Strianese, Paul Imboden and John Fulton. Preliminary sheet metal moulds constructed by Strianese, Imboden, Michael Mueller, Henry McGee and Kenneth Tyler. Image stencils hand-cut by Strianese, Imboden, Mueller and McGee. Paper colouring by the artist assisted by Tyler, Strianese, Imboden, Fulton and Brian Maxwell. Plate preparation, processing, proofing and edition printing by Lee Funderburg and John Hutcheson assisted by Lefkowitz. Preparation and adhering of collage elements by Fulton, Lefkowitz, Strianese, Imboden, Eric Ting and Funderburg.
