Preparation and adhering of collage elements by John Fulton, Jim Lefkowitz, Kathy Cho and Humes.
20 colour coloured pressed paper pulp work with lithograph collage elements adhered. First, one newly made white base sheet was uniquely coloured by the artist with the following dyed pulp colours applied with brushes and by spraying with a pattern pistol through hand-cut plastic stencils: black, light blue, light yellow, dark magenta, light magenta, orange-red, dark red, light red, purple, white and dark blue. The paper was pressed and dried.The following colours were each printed from an aluminium lithography plate for the collage elements: (pencils element) green, transparent green; (bearing element) black, blue, red; (earth element) red, yellow, blue, purple. After printing, the collage elements were cut and adhered to the paper pulp using archival adhesive.
