Edition Notes: TGL papermaking by Tom Strianese and Jed Marshall. Aluminum plate preparation and processing, proofing and edition printing of all printing elements by Lee Funderburg. Preparation and adhering of collage elements by Michael Mueller and Scott Lewis. Eight colour (including one white paper and two coloured papers) woodcut, relief, lithograph, collage printed from two woodblocks, one linoleum block and two aluminum plates. The following colours were printed: blue-grey, white, black, transparent black, and transparent black. After printing, the sheets were adhered. The papers for the top layer were created by the artist in January and February of 1989 while collaborating with papermakers at the Gandhi Ashram paper mill in Ahmadabad, India. At the mill, the papers were stitched together and were untied at TGL leaving perforations in the surface.
