Edition Notes: For the paper Pulp Series (23 works) the artist employed a wide variety of methods to make his images. The works are not colour variations of the same image, although several are similar. For twelve of the images a white pulp base sheet was couched, and Zakanitch applied coloured pulps and dyes to the sheet using various guides. For the others, molds were placed directly on felts, and the artist applied coloured pulps and dyes through molds. In each work he also applied additional pulps and dyes freehand. He made the coloured backing sheets by pouring pulp onto a felt and then pressing it into a sheet.
Coloured dyes used: green, red, brown-red, purple.
