Edition Notes: Framed sculptural paper - buff egg crate type paper made on a wooden frame that has been laced with twine on both sides of frame, then air dired and re-dipped and air dried. No collage just top lattice element.
Colours printed: violet, light blue and green.
A 33 colour, including one white paper and three coloured papers, woodcut, etching, aquatint, relief, knotting, collage printed from two magnesium plates, one assembled plate made from two irregularly shaped woodblocks, one assembled plate made from 20 concentric wood rings, one assembled plate made from circular woodblocks, one assembled plate made from 20 concentric wood rings cut into quadrants, one assembled plate made from diamond-shaped woodblocks, and one assembled plate made from one magnesium plate with 24 rectangular copper inserts. Violet, light blue, and green were printed on the yellow-ocher paper. Brown and grey were printed on white paper. The following colours were ghost printed from Odd-Job (506:AS29) : green, gray, red, metallic green, red, cerulean blue, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, and grey (on green and grey papers). The following colours were printed on grey paper: yellow, orange, purple, blue, gold, yellow, yellow-ocher, red, blue, viridian, and black. The printed papers were torn, assembled, adhered and tied with knots.
Papermaking by Steve Reeves and Tom Strianese; laser-cut woodblock preparation and magnesium plate preparation and processing by Swan Engraving; proofing and edition printing by Rodney Konopaki and Bob Cross; preparation and adhering of collage elements by Konopaki and Cross.
