Edition Notes: This stone was used to print the David Hockney 1980 lithograph 'Study of Byron' (DH79-439). The image was printed in black only and the lithographic stone cracked during the printing process. The stone has been repaired by adhering a supportive backing stone. Stone preparation, processing, proofing and edition printing of the image was by Kenneth Tyler.
