Edition Notes: A 74 colour (ten dye colours and 64 ink colours) relief, screenprint, woodcut, engraving printed from seven magnesium plates, nine screens and one woodblock. First, a newly made white pulp base sheet was coloured with the following dyes: yellow, light orange, red-orange, red, mageneta, plate light purple, light purple, purple, blue and yellow-green. This was pressed and dried. The printing for the top sheet was as follows: (woodblock) silver; (relief, four magenesium plates) yellow-ocher, red, red-violet, blue, blue-green, lack; light yellow, medium yellow, green, black, red, blue; light yellow, yellow-ocher, orange light red, red, magenta, violet, blue, green, yellow-green, grey, black; (6 screens), yellow; light blue, blue-green; light blue-green; black; medium yeloow and red. The printing for the bottom sheet was as follows: (relief, four magnesium plates), silver; light yellow, yellow-ocher, orange, light red, red, magenta, violet, blue, green, yellow-green, grey, black; yellow, medium yellow, blue, black; yellow-ocher, red, red-violet, yellow-green, black; (eight screens) orange; violet; pink; green; yellow and red; black; red; yellow. Papermaking by Steve Reeves and Tom Strianese; plate preparation and processing by Kenneth Tyler and Pete Duchess; laser-cut woodblock preparation by Swan Engraving; proofing and edition printing by Reeves and Strianese.
