Edition Notes: A portfolio of 21 mezzotints with engraving by the artist, illuminating three poems by Lee Blessing, with title, half title and 21 text and colophon pages printed in lithography. The portfolio is encased in a paper folio with mezzotint collage on the front cover and lithographic lettering along the spine. Text set in Bodega Sans Black. Collaboration on the project was from 1993 to 1999. The artist created twenty mezzotints on copper plates for a series of prints published in 1996, the Santos-Santeros. Many of these plates were reworked for the printing of this portfolio. Collaboration with the artist and project supervision by Kenneth Tyler, paper making of folio cover by Tom Strianese and John Hutcheson. Folio construction by Kimberley Bursic assisted by Anthony Kirk, Bursic and Yasuyuki Shibata. Aluminum plate preparation, processing, proofing and edition printing by Hutcheson. Typography design by Lorraine Ferguson.
