1888 Description: Red cloth covered portfolio, cover embossed with gold lettering and border, containing 17 loose collotype plates each mounted, boarder and plate number printed on mount. There is an accompanying red cloth covered text booklet 63 pp, cover embossed with gold lettering and border.

Edition Notes: Leiden, E.J. Brill, 1888. Special edition is red in colour for both the text and plate volumes. The standard edition volume is green in colour and smaller in the margins but with the collotypes the same size as the special edition. The text volume in the green edition is rare.
