Over a lengthy career Wamud Namok, AO has developed known signatures. This painting shows typically big toes, animated expression and gestural hands. Wamud Namok states that ‘there is no story for this painting – they are Bininj and Daluk – husband and wife – that’s all’. There is a timeless quality with these figurative works – people from yesterday, today, tomorrow.
