Primary Insc: Bill was born in Ithaca,Greece, and arrived in Australia at the age of fourteen. Migration severely affected his village of Platrithinia- only a handful of elderly inhabitants remain. Like many other deserted homes on Ithaca, the only occupants of what still stands of the Florias residence are a number of goats- the family home has become an animal shelter. Photo courtesy of S.
