  • Geneviève Dalban, née de Cissey (1926-2002), a pupil of Dangar during her last years at Moly Sabata (1949-51). In 1955 Dalban moved to Moly Sabata to work alongside the weaver Lucie Deveyle who was the only remaining member of the art colony following the death of Dangar in 1951. After Deveyle died in 1956 the workshop was abandoned and Dalban left Moly Sabata in 1958, moving to Ampuis where she became the central figure of the 'Association des amis d’Albert Gleizes' (founded in 1954) from 1960 until the group was dissolved a year before her death in 2002. Dalban must have taken the archives with her when she moved to Ampuis.
  • By descent to Aguilberte (Isabelle) and Paul-Louis Dalban, children of Geneviève Dalban.
  • Purchased by the Australian National Gallery, from Aguilberte (Isabelle) and Paul-Louis Dalban, Ampuis, France, August 2012.
