Jeff Mincham has pursued the subject of the South Australian landscape through his work as a ceramicist, initially through the process of the ‘raku’ technique of firing. With its calm stance and saturated glaze colours, this work evokes the silvery reflection on windswept shore grasses of South Australia’s Coorong region in the slowly changing light and atmosphere of dusk.
