In their partnership, Benjamin Edols is the glassblower, while Kathy Elliott is responsible for the surface design, cutting and grinding of their objects. Together they use processes associated with the Venetian glass tradition: virtuoso glassblowing and fine cutting and grinding in work that also shows the influence of Italian modernist glass of the 1950s.
