Albert TUCKER, Sitting woman Enlarge 1 /1

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 1914 – 1999

  • England, Europe, United States of America 1947-60

Sitting woman 1949 Title Notes: Date inscription very difficult to see against black background. If there was a signature, it may not be apparent for the same reason. Neither verso inscription was found at this inspection; both were taken from an old worksheet, transcribed from original card backing now lost. Same title given in original listing at time of purchase - see file 74/3721 f158-160. Stalked eye, long eyelashes, crescent mouth and light globe are reminiscent of some IOME works. (KA 10/4/02)
