13 colour (including one white paper, two coloured papers and coloured threads) woodcut, relief, lithograph, collage with stitching printed on three sheets from one assembled plate made from irregular shapes cut from a rubber printing blanket, one assembled plate made from the negative areas of the irregular shapes cut from the rubber printing blanket used for the previous assembled plates. One assembled plate made from circular shapes cut from a rubber printing blanket, two woodblocks, one assembled plate made of irregularly shaped lead pieces, one aluminum plate and one linoleum block. The colours printed were: yellow, black, red-grey, pink, blue-grey, blue-grey, white, blue-grey, black and pink. After printing and collage, the artist stitched the print using pink and red threads.
The papers for the middle layer were created by the artist in January and February of 1989 while collaborating with papermakers at the Gandhi Ashram paper mill in Ahmadabad, India. At the mill, the papers were stitched together and were untied at TGL leaving perforations in the surface.
