Edition Notes: Wood parts made of apple-ply maple furniture grade plywood were assembled with manilla rope sized with white glue. Nishikinori paste was applied to the edges of the wood parts and the Kozo-fibre paper was prepared with Sure Mount medium and adhered to the prepared edges of the wood parts. Three coates of gesso were applied to the mounted paper. Acrylic paint coloured to match the metallic foil was painted on the gesso. Gold size varnish was applied to the painted surface and the metallic foil was adhered. A mixture of gloss and matte MSA (mineral spirits acrylic) varnish was painted over the metallic foil. Colours of metallic foil used for the sculptures were red, purple, brown, light green, dark green, grey-green, tan-white and gold. Hooks which fit into specially designed, wall-mounted brackets were attached to the back of the top and bottom metallic sections. Preparation work for sculpture fabrication by Kenneth Tyler and Kevin Falco. Laser cutting of wood parts by Maloya Laser Corp under the direction of Falco. Wood and rope assembly by Falco. Preparation and application of paper, metallic foil and varnish by Robert Meyer. Mounting assembly designed by Tyler and Falco and fabricated by Checkmate Industries.
