Edition Notes: Papermaking, mixing of colours and pulp pressing by Ken Tyler and Lindsay Green. Technique: Coloured paper pulp was prepared by Ken Tyler and Lindsay Green. This liquid pulp was then poured into metal moulds that had been constructed from Hockney's sketches. The metal moulds were then removed from the pulp and the artist worked on them directly by manually applying paper pulp and liquid dyes. Each work was then individually pressed, the pulp fusing together, with the use of a hydraulic press. Created at Tyler Graphics, Bedford Village, NY.
