Hercules between 1839 and 1841 Title Notes: The artist was at Drolling's atelier and the École des Beaux Arts, Paris in 1839-43. This work was probably done fairly early in his period at Drolling's, when students drew from casts such as this, and is therefore estimated at 1839-41. Illus. Heather Curnow: "William Strutt" p17.
