Primary Insc: A. Stamped on side of base: "[a kangaroo]", "WE", "[an emu]". Stamped on inside of lid: "WE"/"[a kangaroo]". B Stamped underneath: "[an emu]", "WE", "[a kangaroo]."
Tertiary Insc: Engraved on side of jug "Presented /To/John Armstrong Riach Esq/of the/ORIENTAL BANK CORPORATION/ as a token of esteem by his friends at/PLEASANT CREEK"/on his leaving the colony of/VICTORIA"/July 31st 1964"
