Secondary Insc: Engraved on surface: "PRESENTED/TO/E.M.YOUNG Esq" [... illeg]/ by anumber of his fellow Colonists/on his leaving Adelaide/to assume the General Management/of theNational Bank of Australasia/29th July 1870". Engraved in midst of above inscription "(crest and stags head) with the motto "BE RIGHT AND PERSIST"
