Edition Notes: An etching, acquatint, engraving with variant inking printed from one copper and one Plexiglas plate. First, light violet, light purple and light blue pulps were applied to a newly made white pulp base sheet. After this was pressed, yellow and light blue dyes were applied to the sheet and pressed. Printing took place while the paper was still moist and the copper and Plexiglas plates were printed simultaneously. The artist selected inks from a palette of colours which consisted of medium yellow, orange, yellow-ochre, vermillion, dark red, violet, purple, brown, dark brown, Prussian blue, turquoise green, medium green, dark green, white and lack (engraving, Plexiglas plate); cobalt blue (etching, aquatint, engraving, copper plate).
Papermaking by Lindsay Green and Lee Funderburg. Experimental trials and standard proof paper colouring by artist assisted by Kenneth Tyler and Green. Paper colouring by artist. Copper plate preparation and processing by Rodney Konopaki and Paul Saunders. Proofing and edition printing by Konopaki. Plexiglas plate preparation, proofing and edition printing by Konopaki.
