After the paper was pressed and dried, black, red, and black were each printed from an aluminium plate. Grey dye was then applied on the dampened sheet by spraying with a pattern pistol through a handcut plastic stencil. Grey, light orange, yellow and dark orange were each printed from an aluminium plate on Rives BFK paper. Black was printed on natural Kozo paper from an aluminium plate. These papers were torn and adhered to the handmade paper. Papermaking by Tom Strianese assisted by Jed Marshell and Brian Maxwell. Image stencils handcut by Strianese.
