NY906 1988 Materials & Technique: paintings, mixed media on canvas
NY906 1988 came out of a series of funereally sublime black works, completed near the end of her life.Within this warm, primordial darkness Edwards sought the origins and endings of life. Like the aftermath of a bushfire her ambiguous forms offer a glimpse into the possibility of a universal subconscious.
